Dynawalla is twenty-five arcade games, and the mathematics is the game rather than a quiz between rounds.

A snake that eats only the numbers smaller than itself. A trebuchet you aim by working out the distance. A balance beam that will not level until the weights are right. A market where you slice the numbers that add to the order. In each of them, doing the arithmetic is how you play — not something you finish before you are allowed to.

EVERYONE GETS THEIR OWN LEVEL

The difficulty follows the player. Someone who is fluent is given harder work; someone who is struggling is quietly given easier work until they are succeeding again. Answering quickly earns more, but nothing is ever taken away for answering slowly — most of the games have no clock on the thinking at all.

The collection concentrates on the ground covered in grades 1 to 5: addition and subtraction in depth, regrouping and across zero, times tables, long multiplication, division, fractions, and the meaning of equality. That is where it concentrates, not where it stops.

NOT ONLY FOR CHILDREN

Adults are welcome, and not only as supervisors. The ladder goes as high as you can climb it, and the games are the same games. If you want brain training that is actually about something, this is mental arithmetic pitched at exactly your level.

WHEN AN ANSWER IS WRONG

The sum is completed on screen and held there for as long as you want to look at it. There is no red cross and no buzzer. Getting it wrong is the moment the game teaches something, so nothing is hurried past.

WHAT IS NOT IN IT

No advertising. No third-party analytics. No tracking. Nothing to buy inside a game. The packs are installed with the app and play without a network connection.
